Decramastic

Decramastic tiles are pressed steel with a protective chip coating, made to mimic tiles. Originally nailed, they can develop leaks over time as those older fixings fail.

How we put it right

  1. 01
    Replace bottom-course nails
    50mm Tekscrews with hydrophilic seals.
  2. 02
    Upgrade ridge & barge nails
    Washered screws matched to the roof design.
  3. 03
    Upgrade flashings
    Old lead replaced with backtray and Dektite.
  4. 04
    Surface strip & clean
    Remove dirt and loose paint.
  5. 05
    Treat rust & prime
    Address exposed rust and prime bare areas.
  6. 06
    Chip coat & topcoats
    Restore the chip surface, then two colour coats.
